Definitely wouldn’t be gbó júing at the thirst trap, but today, I enjoyed every bit of this.

To think I was having a similar conversation with my wife (needed to paste that in) 🤣. The conversation was how attention and expectation move hand in hand. If Jesus had jumped, more crowd, more attention, he would more likely be unable to define the culture, or how he wants to be seen going forward, because the crowd knew what they saw that brought them in the first place, and if that thing isn’t there anymore, or for some other reason he tries to pursue another path, best believe that they might even not wait to see the reason or result from the new path before condemning him.

Perfect Example: Jesus fed 5000 people, the next time, many more showed up for FOOD. Say forget preaching, na the food you give them the last time carry us come. 🤨

But on the flip side, I’m thinking (what if what success means to other people is that “throwing themselves down” they aren’t bothered about what happens thereafter, as long as I can throw myself down now and the angels will catch me, leave whatever happens next, I’ll use that fame to open church and I’m good. Just that one time. 😯😯😯.
